Eduardo Quintero-Nazario, MD

Eduardo J. Quintero-Nazario, M.D., is a gastroenterologist at Baptist Health. Dr. Quintero-Nazario specializes in advanced gastrointestinal endoscopy. Prior to joining Specialty Gastro Center, Dr. Quintero-Nazario served as a clinical instructor at Brooklyn Hospital Center, an academic affiliate of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, and completed an advanced endoscopy fellowship and worked as an assistant professor at Stony Brook University School of Medicine, also in New York. Dr. Quintero-Nazario has presented at many national medical conferences. His research has been published in peer-reviewed publications like Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Endoscopy International Open, and Endoscopic Ultrasound. Dr. Quintero-Nazario was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by his father, a rheumatologist, and his mother, a nurse. He believes medicine is an undeniable passion and a way to give back unconditionally, be there for others and serve as an exemplary model by doing what he loves and enjoys. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Quintero-Nazario enjoys volleyball, acrylic and oil painting, and acoustic and electric guitar.
